Artsy is a recommendation-based chatbot with a graphical user interface designed for those interested in art. The bot can provide information on any artwork through image or title search, with interesting facts and backstories of the art piece. There are also features such as daily art recommendations based on mood and allowing users to discover art exhibitions in New York City.

Problem 

Art is a powerful tool for people to connect and reflect on. However, often, people fail to understand the meaning or the story behind a work of art due to a lack of information about the artist or the piece available to them. Frequently in museums or galleries, the only information available about artwork is small text next to the art with the title and name of the creator.

Moreover, In metropolitan cities where exhibitions are opening and closing every week, it can be challenging to keep up to date with this rapid change or find shows that fit an individual's requirements.
